Remove the screws indicated. Flip the computer right side up and lift off the top half of the case
Unplug the keyboard and set it aside.
Remove the screws indicated and partially lift the RF shield up.
Unplug the speaker from the main board and set the RF shield/speaker assembly aside.
Remove the screws indicated and remove the RF shield from the floppy drive.
Remove the screws indicated and unplug and remove the power supply and HD bracket.
Unplug the power and data cables from the floppy disk drive.
Remove the the screws indicated and the floppy drive should come away from the main board.
Remove the hex studs indicated and pull the RF shield strip off of the back of the unit. (You may need to bend the tabs away from the RCA connector)
Remove the screws indicated and separate the upper RF shield from the board.
Desolder the grounding braids from the RF shield and remove the main board from the shield.
This image shows which parts (J19, L86-L93, and L95) will need to be de-soldered in order to make room for the adapter. Also be sure to remove the small jumper from the two pins on J20, the adapter makes this connection on-board.
There is a narrow lip that will need to be folded inward to make clearance for the adapter. A ordinary pair of pliers will accomplish this easily. (Or you may elect to grind this lip off completely with a rotary tool.)
