Remove the screws indicated. Flip the computer right side up and lift off the top half of the case | |
Unplug the keyboard and set it aside. | |
Remove the screws indicated and partially lift the RF shield up. | |
Unplug the speaker from the main board and set the RF shield/speaker assembly aside. | |
Remove the screws indicated and remove the RF shield from the floppy drive. | |
Remove the screws indicated and unplug and remove the power supply and HD bracket. | |
Unplug the power and data cables from the floppy disk drive. | |
Remove the the screws indicated and the floppy drive should come away from the main board. | |

There is a narrow lip that will need to be folded inward to make clearance for the adapter. A ordinary pair of pliers will accomplish this easily. (Or you may elect to grind this lip off completely with a rotary tool.) | |
